The Author

Ian Mckinney

The author who wrote this story of poetry is a man named Ian McKinney. Many of the events that happened in the story actually happened to him. From the beginning of the story falling from a tree and having a scar from it on his right cheek, the pencil tip in the right hand, and the chaos in the book many may think nothing of it and might not understand. There are people that these things happen to that are real people that I met through daily life interactions.

For, example, the dream of Love lighting my neighbor at that time across my apartment on fire. Then to wake up and find him on fire actually happened when I was living in San Pedro, CA. This is a dream I had where a fire was lit in the dream by Love, the Joyful, and I running throughout a whole city. Now that was a crazy one to wake up to and see a complete city on fire and the coincidence of a dream and that event. There are people in the book who died in the book that are people that died in real life as I was living, traveling, and working throughout the city of Los Angeles.

The inspiration of the book comes from having extremely lucid dreams about a woman that was exactly like the character Love. At that I would have multiple dreams with the same woman. So from the madness and events there was an overwhelming feeling to write about these things that were happening in day to day life and the coincidence of my lucid dreams.
